Me and dh our looking for opinions on our favorite currant baby names.
For a girl were thinking about Chantelle ,Camilla ,Martha, Fiona, Sandra and my personal favorite is Penelope or Bobarina alternatively Jefferina. For a boy were thinking Patrick, Ao, Bruce or Malcom

Nice one OP.

TheyGrewUp · Yesterday 20:35

I think Bobarina and Jefferina are perfect names for baby currants.

🤣

AustenitesUnite · Yesterday 20:58

Chantelle - don't like it
Camilla - OK
Martha - lovely
Fiona - OK
Sandra = sounds dated and not in a good way
Penelope - OK

Patrick - really like it
Ao - never heard of it, doesn't look like a name
Bruce - OK
Malcom - usual spelling is Malcolm

I'm not going to comment on the other names as I hope you're joking . . . .

ProudLemur · Yesterday 21:12

We do understand that Bobarina and Jefferina our quite out there however we would like a unique baby name.

Bobarina, Jefferina....Ribena or even CVit if you wish to go back to the 70s

Itsbeenalongtimeincoming · Yesterday 21:19

Bobarina - No No No - awful awful
Jefferina - as above.

Ao - same as above

These made up ridiculous names aren’t okay.

Sorry OP... you went a step too far with those two and you haven't taken us in.

I raised a sceptical eyebrow at Chantelle, but might have run with it until I was confronted by Bobarina and Jefferina.

Calliopespa · Yesterday 21:21

And if you like Bruce, how about Bruschetta for a girl?

I will certainly add it to my list as this is a beatiful name for a girl I love it.

Malcom is unique but there are 3 Bobarinas in DC1's class and a Jefferina, Jefferella and a Jefferiana in DC2's baby group.

Jostaberry is a nice name, but Oran and Topsy are cute.

I know twin girls, Bruschetta and Lasagne, which I think go well.

BEAchDays2 · Yesterday 21:47

Did ye aye.

SupaStah · Yesterday 21:51

ooo love them! How about Malcomina, or I love the previous posters suggestion of Ribena!

DeeNiall · Yesterday 21:51

Bruschetta has too much scope for mispronunciation and misspelling.

Melanzane and Reggiano would make good names for girl-boy twins.

Jugjug · Yesterday 21:54

Chantelle, Fiona, Penelope, Camilla are all pretty (worth bearing in mind Fiona is an ogre in shrek though)

Sandra and Martha I’m not a fan. Bobarina definitely not lol

My favourite boy name is Patrick. Ao is pretty bad

Gorgeous combo!

DeeNiall · Yesterday 22:01

They could be Mel and Reggie when they're being low key.

Malcomina is lovely but I draw the line at Ribena.

I don't like any of your name ideas OP, sorry. What about Tambourina for a girl?

Mumofgirls2017 · Yesterday 22:27

I’ll be honest, it’s a weird selection of names…

I like Penelope, and Martha. Patrick is dated but I like it for a boy.

ToadRage · Yesterday 22:55

Chantelle - very chavvy
Camilla - very posh
Martha - love it, it's not uheard of but also not too common.
Fiona - old fashioned
Sandra - a little dated and will often be shortened to Sandy.
Penelope - I don't like it but it is fairly popular.
Bobarina/Jefferina - for the sake of your future child please don't.

Patrick - nice, traditional.
Ao - what? Is that a name?
Bruce - again, please don't.
Macolm - Love this, traditional but not common.

I know a little girl called Bobby, it must be short for something, maybe bobarina isn’t as out there as we think
