Naming baby no.2

Our second baby is on the way and it’s a girl, we already have a boy called Louis.

We are thinking of calling her Élodie (yes, DH is French if you haven’t already guessed!) but still debating a middle name also - open to suggestions.

i want our children’s names to sound good together - Does Louis and Élodie have a nice ring to it? Or is it almost too French?

How can it be too French if they are half French? Those names sound fine OP

They're a bit rhymey for my taste, but both nice names individually.

Louis and Elodie are great together. They are so mainstream they aren’t obviously French.

I don’t think names can be ‘too’ French? Élodie is a French name.
I think they sound a bit rhymey though. A lovely name, but I would want to chose something with a different sound.

I LOVE Mélodie. Would you consider that instead? 😁
