Pregnant with my 3rd, always loved the name Mila, unsure if to do Amelia and just call her Mila or considering we wouldn’t actually call her Amelia just go for Mila. Other name suggestions welcome x

I wouldn't be sure how to pronounce Mila, but it looks a bit like a disease. I know it's popular, but Amelia is a beautiful name, and there are so many variants (e.g., Millie, Mia, Lia, Mimi), which are all pretty and can evolve depending on her personality.

I don't like any of them. None of them are pretty. Millie, Mia, Lia, Mimi from Amelia are contrived. Amelia is the least bad of the lot but is a disorder.

I think Mila is a lovely name. As it is. Simple -in a good way. Works for all ages. Sounds modern but not naff -obviously, just my opinion
Congratulations on your baby girl.

Love Mila and Lumila but dislike Amelia which is so common and boring IMO. Go for it.

It's a name which just merges into all the Isla/ lyla/ lyra/ Myla/ Maya/ Mila's.
So many 4 letter names ending in a that I just can't distinguish between them.

Also I wouldn't know how to pronounce Mila. Is it My La? Mee La?

It feels like a name you can't get a handle on to me.
I think I'd keep forgetting whether it's meela/ myla/ mia/ myra.
