Twin brother for Hudson?

zaerth · 23/06/2026 11:54

We're expecting twin boys! We have one name decided on, but are having trouble deciding on the other twin's name. We also have a daughter Ava as well, so we want a name that sounds nice when all three are said together. Any thoughts on these names?

Sawyer

Colby

Callum

Knox

NewName4Moi · 23/06/2026 14:40

Harrison, although that’s not on your list, sorry.

Yamyamabroad · 23/06/2026 14:44

Your names will come across very differently depending on if you are in the UK or America. Where are you OP so we can advise properly?

Hicks

Please tell me this is a reference to the Iliza sketch where she’s shouting these sort of names at dinner time and throws in Braxton! Hicks! Contractions! in between all the Brodies, Tanners and Hudsons. 😂

Nile or Thames

DramaAlpaca · 23/06/2026 15:19

Callum from your list.

I'd suggest Blake (I see someone else already mentioned this one)

WonderWeeksArentReal · 23/06/2026 15:21

I like Hudson and Sawyer

Callum is a nice name but it doesn't go with Hudson.

Colby is ok.

Knox is awful (sorry).

Skybluepinky · 23/06/2026 15:25

Strange you would choose one surname Hudson but your daughter and other child you would be using common first names.

UserNineNine · 23/06/2026 15:26

Trent
Rio
Jordan
Nile
Clyde

Cobrakainerd · 23/06/2026 15:30

Rex...😉🐕

DeeNiall · 23/06/2026 15:32

I only like Calum (I prefer this spelling) from your list.
I'd use two names that aren't similar e.g. Hudson and Rex. (cross-posted with pp. Smile)

Vaguelyclassical · 23/06/2026 15:45

Knox? You would consider naming a child after a famously hard line 16th century Calvinist who wrote an infamously fiercely misogynistic tract condemning women who were queens in their own right?

CafedelaButte · 23/06/2026 16:21

@gerispringerSo do I! I’m guessing it could be the same person ☺️

JohnofWessex · 23/06/2026 16:41

Lockheed (Lockeed Hudson - WW2 Aircraft)

Hornet (Hudson Hornet from Cars)

whirlyhead · 23/06/2026 16:42

Surely it has to be Connor (heated rivalry)
