DS is Jasper David.

I need inspiration for boys names if this DC in my tum is a boy. I can think of lots of girls names I like, but not many boys names.

Help!!

I don't have a relative called Archie so that's not an issue, but I know 2 little Archie's already.

lee?

I do really like Rowan, but DH not that keen.

But I have a good while to work on him

On that subject, did you know it's National Winking Day today? It was on GMTV so it must be true!

Carrot would be great!

And I love Conran too?

I also like Jim - Jasper and Jim went off to the beach (sounds v. Enid Blyton)

All others of course are good.

Does Jasper get shortened to anything yet?

OverMyDeadBody · 20/06/2008 12:28

how about Hugo?

Gus, Adam, Zach, Jacob and Toby ...

i was just having a pregnancy fantasy about having two boys, one named jasper and the other named gus...

too bad my dh won't go for either. we're sticking to Noah.

Jojay · 20/06/2008 12:41

Jasper gets shortened to all sorts of nonsense, like Jasbo, Jassie, Jaz, the J man, etc, but nothing official, IYSWIM.

Quite like Toby and Theo - I'll add them to my list of possibilities - it's getting VERY long now!!

oooh how about Troy?

LuLuBai · 20/06/2008 14:24

The more I think about it, the more I do think Bruno works well with Jasper - contains the right level of 'classic eccentric' that you are looking for

Enid · 20/06/2008 14:27

Devizes

Enid · 20/06/2008 14:27

why do they have to go

they arent twins

OrmIrian · 20/06/2008 14:29

Ivan?

My eldest is Alex so I like that too.

LuLuBai · 20/06/2008 14:30

Oh come on Enid - if you had one child called Hepzibah and named the other one Alan it would seem rather odd.

Alan and Nora - fine if that's your taste
Hepzibah and Sheherizade - ditto

But mix them up and they sound really crap.

Enid · 20/06/2008 14:31

you can do what you like

hepzibah and shherzade...shcersez..whatever...makes you sound like a wakner

LuLuBai · 20/06/2008 14:32

ha ha ha

GryffinGirl · 20/06/2008 14:48

Malcolm. very a la mode since Ulrike

GryffinGirl · 20/06/2008 14:48
Grin
greenelizabeth · 20/06/2008 16:04

Hector is good too. I like it almost as much as Victor, and Jasper and Hector would sound very good.

Best friend's son's name is Jasper. How about Simon?
