Ada, Eliza, or Evelyn

Middle name Violet.

Ada or Eliza, every other little girl is called Evelyn I’m afraid.

Eliza - lovely name

I like all three, but in order of preference I would choose

(1) Eliza
(2) Evelyn
(3) Ada

Eliza is really nice

I like Eliza too. Evelyn pretty but popular and different pronunciations like Eva Lyn and Eve Lyn.

Ada has become extremely popular in the last few years in my area, it's a lovely name! It would be my favourite of the 3. I'm not mad about Eliza, sounds dowdy to me.

Ada is my favourite but I am biased and I have an Ada. She's the only one I've heard of her age in my area.

I like Adrianna and Elizabeth. Very classic.

Eliza. She is so kind and caring and emphatic.

I just don’t think Ada is nice name. It’s more of a noise. I know a few Ada’s and always think; it’s like a word a baby would say.

Ada. Eliza and Evelyn are more popular where I live.

I'd go for Ada. I'm not a fan of Eliza at all, and I don't really like Evelyn unless you'd call her Evie for short (which I do love!)

Eliza is my favourite but it doesn't go with Violet. The repeated eye sound is jarring.

Ada is lovely. I do like Evelyn, but only pronounced Ev-eh-lyn. I dislike Eve-lyn and Ev-lyn.

Ada Violet therefore gets my vote.

Not Evelyn. It’s too confusing to know how to pronounce it. I teach 5 at the moment and they’re a mixture of Ev-lyn, Eve-lyn and Ever-lyn. I like Eliza best from your list.

I really dislike Eliza, it's such a harsh sound to me. Ada my favourite out of those.

I don't really like any of them but if pushed:

1. Eliza - ok because I love My Fair Lady
2. Ada - because of Lovelace
3. Evelyn - I don't like the sound and Evie is too popular

Eliza, Evelyn, Ada - just because Ada is insanely popular around here - I know 6 small children called Ada!

They are all nice names and are all pretty popular at the moment. But just to add to the MN list of 'weird reasons to avoid a name' if you know many biochemists don't name your child ELISA.
