Would the Council of Andrews influence your baby name choice?

So, naming your baby Andrew or Andrea could help get them lifelong support and a scholarship, as shown in the Guardian today.

I do like the name Andrew, but I've definitely been put off it due to listening to entitled, the book about Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.

ETA- and obviously his horrific behaviour!

Because it's always been a steadily popular name, neither name of the moment or obscure, I don't think people hear 'Andrew' and think 'Mountbatten Windsor'. I can think of about 10 non-famous Andrews I know of various ages, and I'd describe myself as quite reclusive.

If I associate it with anything, it's Scotland, for obvious reasons.

But, good luck to the Council of Andrews, sounds like it's helping the members.

I think the name Andrew has been tainted in recent years.
To me Andrea is dated and not old enough to be due a come back.
