Aphasia is nice

OlderGlaswegianLivingInDevon · 03/04/2026 00:37

Elizabeth

as your other daughters' names also start with vowels.

or as suggested Olivia - a vowel to start and ends in an A like the others.

Louisa
Juliana

You are going from traditional to current. My first thought was

Esme

Then

Gracie ( theres a grace and gracie in my child's school year and heaven forbid I get them confused in school gossip)

Rosalind (Roz/Rosie)

Zara

Súmer (summer)

Isabella, Amelia & Lydia was my first thought . . .

There are some lovely names on here.
I just wanted to point out that Aphasia is a language disorder.

I love Louisa, Ophelia and Elora.

Aphasia is nice

Not if you’ve had a stroke.

Anyway…Jemima. Job done.

BoleynMemories13 · 03/04/2026 08:42

The obvious one, to me, would be Olivia. It's another popular 4 syllable name starting with a vowel and ending in an a.

However, the could indeed be overkill. Depends whether you're wanting another similar name, or you're looking for something different this time.

Olivia

Isabella is a form of Elizabeth, @OlderGlaswegianLivingInDevon .

Shufflebumnessie · 03/04/2026 11:45

Jessica would be my first choice.
Also really like Catherine.

Sophie/Sophia
Emily
Catriona (Catrina)

Matilda
olivia

Jessica

StationJack · 03/04/2026 12:06

Jessica would be my first choice. I like it and it's not too popular.
Emily not with Amelia.
Catriona - too many different ways people say it.
Catrina - it's usually Katrina.
Catherine - several spellings.
