Looking for a brother name to go with Rosamund (Rose / Rosie).

Would love something with a longer version that can be shortened, but also open to shorter names.

I always had one boy name I loved, but now can’t use it so feeling lost!

I love Rosamund.... Rosie when she's a baby!

Why can't you use your preferred boy name?

Names don't need to 'go'. Just choose whatever you like.

RosamundIsMyName · 30/03/2026 21:51

Name changed for obvious reasons! Apologies I can’t work out from your OP but do you already have a daughter named Rosamund? Or are you planning on using it for a girl. I have to be honest and say that I have always really disliked my name! Ros is OK and what I go by as an adult but having to use my full name for forms, doctors appointments etc is really not fun. It just sounds so ugly and clunky. Sorry OP

@RosamundIsMyName Haha that’s her given name. We mostly call her Rose / Rosie. For what it’s worth I also never liked my name (thought it was too plain/ boring!)
