I'd use Alby or Al. I don't like all the bert names. This one is ohs choice.

Love it - Albie and Bertie are both cute for little boys, then all his mates will call him Al when he's a teenager

I love it! (It's my mum's dad's name too) but DP not keen... We both like Arthur though, hmmm. Mind you, we're convinced we're having a girl now.

it was my dad's name so it's v sentimental for me. but if I'd had a boy I probably wouldn't have chosen it.
