May spelt that way. Poppy is a popular name, but feels a bit twee to me.

Mae makes me think of Mae West. It’s a no from me.

May. I think it's sweet and pretty, but not if it's spelled Mae.

Poppy is more like a noise than a name and I think it's very twee and babyish.

I like both Poppy and Mae, but prefer Mae. While both Mae and May spellings are fine I prefer May. But it's fine to go with the spelling that you like.

Poppy is a lovely name. I know one who is early teens now. Mae/May is less nice, not cool, and makes me think of Mae West, sorry.
