What does this name bring to mind? What time of child/family do you envision? (Thanks in advance - really helpful as we are are narrowing down names!)

Red cords! Brilliant and the dad has one of those fleece gilets with piping. Grandma lives in the kitchen because the house is freezing but the Aga keeps her warm.

Jules is a really cool name, I think it works well for all ages. I personally prefer Julian as a longer version.
