First child, baby boy due August.

love Miles, this spelling, kinda hard to pronounce for me.

crumpet · 04/01/2026 16:43

Not Myles

MidnightPatrol · 04/01/2026 16:43

I like it.

classic but also has a modern vibe.

Recognisable but also unusual enough he will probably be the only one.

Id spell it Miles.

TomatoSandwiches · 04/01/2026 16:43

It's a bit wet but not the worst name.
Do you have any other contenders?

Cat1504 · 04/01/2026 16:44

I know a 20 year old Miles….not Myles ….that’s awful

BoleynMemories13 · 04/01/2026 17:37

Not a favourite of mine, I find it quite stuffy, but I do prefer Myles to Miles. Miles is just a unit of measurement to me.

Verathe · 04/01/2026 17:40

Dreadful

RuthW · 04/01/2026 17:46

Myles is nice

BCBird · 04/01/2026 17:48

I like it- classy. Presume it will go ok with ur surname.

dailyconniptions · 04/01/2026 17:49

Myles is nice. Miles is distance.

fluffiphlox · 04/01/2026 17:50

No. I’d think you were trying to be posh. Definitely not Myles.

Lollylavender · 04/01/2026 18:00

Miles is used to measure distance like Kilometres. It’s the plural of Mile!

Verdantview · 04/01/2026 18:01

I like it spelled Miles.

Springswallow · 04/01/2026 18:02

Really love it
Wish I'd thought of it for my boys

Twinkletwinkly · 04/01/2026 18:06

Miles isn't my taste. I prefer Giles. It's not awful. But go for the Miles spelling - Myles is awful.

pilates · 04/01/2026 18:11

I like the spelling Miles.

Comedycook · 04/01/2026 18:12

boogietrapps · 04/01/2026 18:12

First child, baby boy due August.

Sorry out of interest how do you know so early that you are due a boy in August?

momahoho1 · 04/01/2026 18:13

No because the one I knew was evil (literally, resting at his majesties pleasure)

momahoho1 · 04/01/2026 18:14

@Bumblebeehee You can find out if you preimplantation genetic testing.

AlwaysRightISwear · 04/01/2026 18:16

I like Miles or Milo. Not keen on the y spelling.

Moreteaandchocolate · 04/01/2026 18:20

It’s ok - I associate it with an annoying posh boy at uni so that’s tainted it for me!
