Lavinia----shrub or ?

I knw floral names are all the rage but a neighbour's daughter has just named her little girl 'Lavinia'.

They hope that she will be called 'Vinnie' rather than the more obvious shortening.

Poor kid. I can already hear it in the classroom/playground as 'Miss.... Lavie needs the lavvy'.
