I’ve only seen the name as Nyah - I think on a character in one of the Mission Impossible films. It’s nice enough, albeit very similar in sound/style to Maya/Mya. Like a previous poster (and just like with Maya), if it was spelt Naya I wouldn’t be sure if it was “Nay-ah” or “Ny-ah”.

Nay Way, it’s awful. And asking how people would pronounce it means that for years to come your child would have their name incorrectly pronounced.

Nia is pronounced nigh-ah, I would use this spelling if that is the pronunciation you are after, as it is a well-known Welsh name.
