I love your name choices. I especially like Julia, it’s classy and pretty.

Ginasonabendernow · 25/11/2025 03:31

Serena

LivingTheDreamish · 25/11/2025 03:44

Here is what I like from your list:

Juliet - pretty and elegant
Georgia - nice in it's own right and nice in tribute
Caroline (“line” pronunciation) - an underused classic
Tessa “Tess” - would probably use Theresa on bc
Serena
Heidi

danascully96 · 25/11/2025 03:57

Thank you to everyone so far! I forgot to add Eve to the list if that changes anything for future posters :)

I love Georgia and especially the added meaning.

Peternell · 25/11/2025 04:41

I really like most of your names. I love Bridget - it sounds strong, (and means 'strong'), is classic but rarely used for a little one. Same with Julia and Susannah. Also love Georgia, Juliet, Tessa/Tess, Felicity and Flora. The only one on your list I dislike is Heidi, just not in the same class as the rest.

user1492757084 · 25/11/2025 04:41

All lovely names.
Julia is my preference over Juliette.

My personal taste would stop me using:
Violet, Madeline (I like Madeleine), Margot (prefer Margaret), Pippa (prefer Philippa) and Dahlia.

My favourite five ..
Bridget
Louisa
Grace
Susanna
Georgia

Pranksters · 25/11/2025 08:10

I love Georgia, Felicity and Serena.

Grace is so overused. And there are sooooo many Evie’s, that Eve is just a bit dull. Grace and May are every girl’s middle name (along with Rose).

Bridget is so harsh and ugly. I don’t like Margot either.

Tess is quite cool, I like Heidi but it’s quite popular now.

APatternGrammar · 25/11/2025 08:17

All are nice names but your list is too long. There must be some you like more than others.

zazazaaarmm · 25/11/2025 08:18

Juliet is my favourite.
May is beautiful as a standalone name.
Really don't like Margot (Maggot) also will date as very now.
Bridget I just hear in an Aussie accent which isn't bad necessarily.
Like Tessa.
Flora (spreads easily /a cow's name)
The rest I have no options on.

KilliMonjaro · 25/11/2025 08:28

No

SlightTickle · 25/11/2025 08:33

They’re all nice, inoffensive names, bar Dahlia, which is awful. I like Susannah best of your list.

Onefortheroad25 · 25/11/2025 08:36

I love Louisa. So classy. Most of your names are pretty decent actually except Bridget, June & Natalie.

Turnitoffnonagain · 25/11/2025 08:40

Another vote for Julia or Juliet.
Don't like Bridget, or the last 3 on your list. Or Felicity. Will get shortened to Fliss, for sure.😒

Looperoo · 25/11/2025 09:09

Juliet or Julia - beautiful and classic

Charlotte - as above

Violet - lovely

Bridget- Don't like

Georgia - boring

Caroline - reminds me of a woman in her 50s/60s

Madeline - Don't like, will be shortened to Mads/Mad/Maddie

Felicity - dont like. Sounds clunky.

Margot “Maggie” - too popular and will date

Tessa “Tess” - don't like

Elizabeth “Eliza” - Like Eliza, but dont like Elizabeth. Its a classic but I've never liked it, for some reason.

Louisa - OK

May - boring

June - old lady

Grace - boring

Serena - Don't like

Elise- OK

Susannah - dont like

Pippa - nice enough

Natalie or Natalia - dont like

Flora - margarine

Dahlia - dont like

Heidi- dont like

Sofiatheworst · 25/11/2025 09:18

Georgia is my absolute favourite name. I couldn’t use it unfortunately. I definitely think you should.

DuchessOfNarcissex · 25/11/2025 09:18

Bridget - like
Georgia - like
Caroline - like
Susannah - like
Flora - like
Pippa - not keen but I like Philippa
Tessa “Tess” - ok
Heidi - ok
Elizabeth “Eliza” - not keen on Eliza, Elizabeth nn Lizzie is nice
Louisa - ok, prefer Louise
Juliet or Julia - don't like Jules or Juliette
Charlotte - fine but don't like Charlie, Lottie's not bad
Violet - not keen on Vi
Serena - it's ok
Eve -like, but there are so many Evies, Evas, Avas, Evelyns and Ivys.
Madeline - Madeleine is ok but don't like Maddie or the 'line' pronunciation
Felicity - ok, long, hate Flick.
Margot “Maggie” - Maggie is ok, but Margot isn't. Why use a diminutive of Margaret for a diminutive of Margaret?
Dahlia - don't like, 'dail-ya' or Dahl-ya?
Natalie or Natalia - dated
May - meh
June - don't like
Grace - meh
Elise - don't like

Blueuggboots · 25/11/2025 09:49

I have an aunty Bridget who goes by Bridie.

i love Margot and Maggie.

Mumofgirls2017 · 25/11/2025 11:47

Lots of classic choices. I like Juliet (and Julia but prefer Juliet), Elizabeth nn Eliza, Flora, dahlia, would say Madeline but worry about McCann association.

KarriTreeSullivan · 25/11/2025 15:01

Love!:
Juliet or Julia - Juliet, I think is a beautiful name and is so nice to say. Julia somehow is dull in comparison and much mor common.

Georgia - Gorgeous, lovely meaning for you, and there is the lovely song 'Georgia on My Mind' but I think that is about the US State Georgia!
Charlotte - another gorgeous name that is lovely to say. I really dislike Charlie as a short version, but love Lottie!

Madeline (“line” pronunciation like the books) - beautiful, sort of dreamy and poetic.

May - I love this name, it was top of my list for girls as it is a family name. People might think it boring though as it has been so overused as a middle name.

Susannah - Love Susannah, unusual these days too. Susan was an extremely popular baby name for women who are now in their 70's so some might find it a bit odd.

Heidi - Gorgeous, was high up on my girl names list.

Nice:
Pippa - really cute.

Caroline (“line” pronunciation) - it's alright, almost certainly won't be any others in her class, Caroline is way nicer than just Carol.

Elizabeth “Eliza” - nice, classic.

Louisa -nice classic

Tessa “Tess” - really love, but it does tend to be a dog or horses name.

Margot “Maggie” - I used to love Margot but I think it's a bit too common now and so many people on here say it reminds them of Maggot, which I never noticed before and now I can't unsee it. However, I'm not sure why you would name her Margot but call her Maggie? Just name her Maggie? Bit weird.

June - A Handmaids Tale - what a woman! I quite likely but it is a bit on the wrong side of old lady names to me.

Serena - also A Handmaids Tale, a complicated character. It's quite a nice name.

Natalie or Natalia - I love the way Natalie is said in an English voice and when all letters are pronounced (apart from the 'e' of course), I don't like the American pronunciation at all, or when the English drop the t's. Not a fan of Natalia, not sure why!

Dahlia - Nice, a beautiful flower! But do you say Darr-lia or Day-lia. Whichever way she'll have to let people know forever.

Strongly dislike:
Flora - absolutely awful, it is a margarine or the name of a cow in a meadow.

Violet - horrible, mean girl vibes, really hate the name Violet but a lot of people like it right now.

Bridget - Makes me think - Bridgerton, god awful silly TV series! Though I might be the only person that thinks that. Old fashioned, old money, bit stuck up.

Felicity - She'd be friends with Violet and they'd be mean girls together.

Grace - dull, way too many about now.

Elise - nah, dull, much prefer Eliza

Suggestions: Suzette, Claire, Joanie

Great list OP, good luck and congratulations!

KarriTreeSullivan · 25/11/2025 15:03

Eve, a harmless name but it is incredibly dull and pretty common in all it's forms compared to most of your other names!
