Pretty sure Isla is in the top 3 most popular names atm.

A quick Google shows parents complaining that their misspelt Isla is often pronounced as Hay-la without the H. Apparently the other 99.9% of the population have got it wrong!

You can but with Isla so popular (Isla - Baby name explorer), she'll be correcting people a lot.

I'm not finding the spelling of Aila very intuitive. To me it looks like is needs to be said Ale-la or Ayl-la and has thus overtones of someone who is ailing or unwell.

I think that is making a middle name harder to sit with it.

For instance the problem with, for example, this list of middle names is that Aila Florence makes me think of Florence Nightingale tending to the ailing.

Aila Grace sounds like they are praying for grace from God to cure them of their ailments.

Aila Joy sounds like someone who loves being bedridden

Aila Scarlett sounds like scarlet fever.

And so on...

Isla Grace etc looks fine.
