Lovely names. I prefer Jonathan Charles as it flows better.

AlwaysHopefull89 · 12/11/2025 23:57

Thank you! Not 100% on Phoebe yet but I am hoping it will grow on me, always thought it was quite pretty!

Congratulations! I like very much Phoebe and Jonathan as twins (and like both names separately). I prefer Charles as the middle name with Jonathan.

Personally don't like Phoebe but nothing wrong with it, just not one I would choose. Jonathan Anthony is nice and classic but check you're happy that the initials work okay with your surname as they could spell JAM or JAR or JAY etc.

HeddaGarbled · 13/11/2025 00:00

Yes, nice.

I like Jonathon Charles better than Jonathon Anthony just because the one syllable sounds better after the three syllables, rather than two three syllable names, which is more of a mouthful, but both are fine.

Phoebe is a lovely name! Jonathan - sorry Im not a fan of this name.

LivingTheDreamish · 13/11/2025 03:32

Phoebe and Jonathan is lovely OP. Prefer Jonathan Charles.

Freya is another option if you are not sold on Phoebe (but probably not with Anne).

mathanxiety · 13/11/2025 04:28

Jonathan Anthony has too much 'anth/ than''. Jonathan Charles is better.

Phoebe is nice.

Moreteaandchocolate · 13/11/2025 05:39

Lovely names, both individually and as a pair. I prefer Jonathan Charles.

Congratulations!

Love Jonathon Charles and also Phoebe Anne.
Perfect and each gets a royal name.

1985checkshirt · 13/11/2025 10:04

Like both names, prefer Charles for middle name.
Congratulations. I had April boy/girl twins (they'll be 17 next). I always say to twin mums say the names over and over again together (because you will use them very often together) and see how they sound in your accent.

Snugglemonkey · 13/11/2025 11:17

I think Phoebe is lovely. I dislike Jonathon though. I know too many Jonny's.

AlwaysHopefull89 · 13/11/2025 12:01

Thanks so much everyone !!

Jonathan and Anthony are great. Charles too but more popular.

RecordBreakers · 13/11/2025 17:55

Both nice names.
I much prefer that twins or other multiples don't have 'matchy matchy' names.

Without knowing your surname, just check their intials don't spell anything you don't want them to, if you give middle names beginning with 'A'.

I think Jonathan Charles 'flows' better, but, in life, you don't say both names together much, after you've announced the birth, so that doesn't really matter.
