I'd have gone
"Sam Meer Ah" as I think the 'mmm' sound seems to attach to both the 'Sa' and the 'ear'

But I've never heard it pronounced with a 'my' sound.

Neither. As others have said sa-MEER-ah (though I see others with sa-MEER-uh, which I could also see/hear and may be an accent thing).

I say meer and ear as two syllables. Samira is 3 syllables not 4.

I've personally never heard it pronounced as No2. I also lived in the middle east for several years and always heard it as No1.

The only one I know pronounces it Sa-my-ra
