Naomi - I know one Naomi and four Emilys.

Naomi! Emily is lovely but a bit meh.

The Naomis I know pronounce their names differently which is a bit tricky - depends how you feel about mispronunciation. It is a lovely name.

Emily is classic, easily spelled and pronounced

Nothing wrong with lovely Emily, but Naomi is a bit more unusual and a very good name so that would be my pick.

Both are good names. I’d pick Emily as it’s a simple classic with nice nn options Emmy or Milly. The downside is that it’s been popular for decades so there are lots of Emily’s around!

Naomi is nice but I’d get fed up with the different pronunciations and it also feels a little dated to me as the only ones I know are in their 40’s.

Naomi is I moan backwards. I wouldn't have known that but for one of the Naomis I know telling me it was her nickname at school.

I've never understood the "I prefer _ because it's less popular" opinion. There's usually a reason for that! Emily is much nicer imo.

Naomi, as Emily is ultra boring. But the incorrect pronunciations would drive me potty. I assume you'd be saying 'nay omi'?

Emily is still lovely, I'd go for that. Naomi is fine though.
