Caspar, Felix or Raphael

Tell me your preference and why please!

DH also likes Cassian but I am less convinced - thoughts welcome.

Felix, because I have a son of that name! I like Raphael too but not a fan of Caspar.

I really like Felix and Caspar. Not such a fan of Raphael although it's not bad.

Caspar is my absolute favourite name, I would have named DS this but it doesn’t work with our surname at all unfortunately. Felix and Raphael are both also lovely, you have really good taste! Not at all a fan of Cassian, sorry.

Caspar - like but loses points because of Casper and Kasper spellings are also in use. Caspar is my preferred spelling
Felix - OK but it can't be shortened, not that it needs to but it happens. It does make me think of cats.
Raphael - dislike the Raffa-yell pronunciation and dislike Raph.

Cassian - like but it might get said as Cashun.

I wouldn't choose any of them, but Caspar and Felix are ok.

I like Raphael nn Raffy!
Closely followed by Caspar.

Caspar - we have one so that gets my vote! Although it seems very popular on Mumsnet recently we’ve only met one other who spelt it Casper. Mine is 18 months old.

I loved Raphael too nn Raffy but couldn’t get it past DH.

Felix is also gorgeous!

I like Caspar and Raphael, although I prefer Rafe

Caspar: too many spelling variants for me, and I don't think this one would be most people's first assumption. I immediately think of the ghost - is he likely to be blonde and pasty?
Raphael: it's ok.
Felix: I like it, but it would be too strongly linked to the cat food brand for me to use.
Cassian: I associate this with artsy types and trust fund hippies.

Hmmm just don’t like Caspar and would spell it Casper- don’t know why, it just doesn’t seem like a name to me.

Felix, can’t get over the car food connotation at all- but I’m old and I think that is less relevant for people these days. But our cat looked like the Felix cat So to me felix is always going to be a cat name.

Raphael I don’t really like either but I do like Raffa as a nickname so it gets my vote!

Raphael and Caspar are okay. I rather dislike Cassian.

I like them all and would shorten Raphael to Rafe or Raffy and would prefer Casper or even Jasper.

If you want to mark your kid out as a posh twat then go for it, but they're going to be laughed at with a name like that.

I love them all.

I personally prefer Rafferty to Raphael, and love Raffy as a nickname for either
