I like Astrid for a girl and Cillian for a boy.

Quinn seems masculine as I only know boys, often short for Quentin

Most are nice names (one is my dc name) but ask yourself this - would you genuinely want to introduce yourself to others as Winnie or Chester?

TheeNotoriousPIG · 05/10/2025 10:40

I like Erin, Niamh, Orla, Grace, Harriet (it's grown on me since I met two nice ones!) and Rose (with Rosie as a nickname).

Those names just make me think of no-nonsense kind of people (in the best possible way!), as well as being very capable and strong girls and women... and in the case of Erin, Niamh and Orla, with lovely Irish accents!

I would think names you like are romantic, but safe, no-frills names, modern, but everyday names, soft, but not weak feel

I like Harriet, Astrid, Orla, Ivy, Amelia, Brodie, Lachlan, Callum the best, but all are nice

Winnie- sweet, vintage
Astrid- posh, Scandinavian, not a fan of the ass sound at the start
Piper- sassy, rule breaker, love it but nah date poorly
Quinn- like, again quite tomboy name
Ivy- love but there’s so many
Erin- nice but possibly dated
Niamh- ok, as above for Erin
Orla- the one on big brother
Grace- most likely to be ungraceful!
Amelia- extremely popular, strong name but not a fan
Harriet- it’s ok
Rosie- sweet but a bit dull
Cillian- don’t like the kill sound
Lachlan- it’s ok
Brodie- don’t really like the sound plus may date badly sounding similar to Cody
Callum- dated
Chester- can’t get on board with the ches sound. Sounds cheeky but in an annoying way to me
Colby- reminds me of the cheese

user2848502016 · 05/10/2025 23:23

Astrid is lovely, also like Rosie but as a nn for Rose/Rosemary

Not keen on any of your boys names, sorry

mathanxiety · 05/10/2025 23:28

Not keen on Chester, Amelia, Erin, Brodie, Quinn, Colby, or Piper.

The rest are nice.

Fairywingsandroses · 05/10/2025 23:29

Sorry, I hate all the boys names and most of the girls names are just so popular they are becoming boring.
