Help! Name for baby girl

Vitany · 30/09/2025 14:22

We can't decide on a name for our baby girl and we are getting close to needing to register. We need a name of greek origins (ideally mythology/ancient greece) and our eldest is called Iris, so we were also open to flower names. We would also like the name to be a bit uncommon. You can see why we are stuck! We are thinking of Nerine, but not sure if that sounds pretty in English and Lydia has been mentioned as another option. Any help will be much appreciated :)

How do you say it?
Nerine will be Ner-een or Nerrin in the UK,I think in Greece it might beNer-een-ee.
I like Lydia.
Eleni willbe saidas Elainy in the UK, it's El-enny in Greek.
Carys is awful.
