Trying to reduce our shortlist, which below name do you prefer?

Kit but only as a nickname for Christopher

GoldenRosebee · 27/09/2025 19:01

Rafferty - love the full name, but I would use full name occasionally, bc what's the point of full name if it's never used?
If you never want to use full name, don't bother with full name.

SkaneTos · 27/09/2025 19:22

They are all good names!

I voted for Finn.

Moreteaandchocolate · 27/09/2025 19:24

Finn or Archie are my favourites 😊

Kit but only as a nickname for Christopher

Yup, me too. Its a great nn but its not a name.

LivingTheDreamish · 27/09/2025 20:50

Rafferty or Christopher (nn Kit).

Steph888 · 27/09/2025 20:58

I wouldn’t call a child Finn or Rafferty unless you’re Irish.

I don’t like Kit.

Archie is nice.

JillyGiraffe · 28/09/2025 07:10

Kit as a nickname for Christopher. I also really like Raffy but personally prefer Raphael.

PurpleChrayn · 28/09/2025 07:11

They’re all a bit tryhard, to be honest.

HugoYorway · 28/09/2025 14:21

Kit - Rooney
Raffi / Rafferty - awful
Archie - past its best
Finn - Finley far too popular

The only one I vaguely like is Finn.

BoleynMemories13 · 28/09/2025 19:14

Kit and Finn are lovely. The other two aren't for me at all.

Out of those two, I much prefer Finn as a stand alone name. Kit is great, but only as a nickname for Christopher. Whereas Finn works as a name in it's own right (and I prefer it to Finley).

Lemonadepie · 01/10/2025 06:30

Kit as in “take your kit off”? I dont like it

Rafferty is the best from your list

Silverbirchleaf · 01/10/2025 06:32

Kit, as nn for Christopher
Rafferty, with nn Raffi
Archie, as nn for Archibald
Finn, as nn for Finley. Also consider Flynn?
