Sibling names for ‘Lottie’?

mollylott1705 · 08/09/2025 22:16

Hi, we have a 10 month old daughter named Lottie, Lottie Isobella. We are expecting our second in February, finding out the gender in two weeks but are wanting ideas or sibling names. I don’t particularly want another L name, although we wouldn’t be closed off to the right one.

I love names like;

Rueben
Marlo
Harry
Ottis

And for a girl I only really love ‘Milly’

My partner hasn’t really loved any names so far yet x

The Lottie I know has a sister called Isobel

And a brand new one called Emmeline (Emmi) Emmi & Lottie. (And Izzy in their case)

FFS don't spell Reuben like that

Ruben or
Reuben

NEVER Rueben unless you want to be sniggered at by every year group teacher he ever encounters!

Unexpectedlysinglemum · 08/09/2025 22:50

Came here to say Millie!
boy - Ollie, Oliver, max, Zac, Alfie

Lottie and Arlo?

Milly was the first girls name that sprang to mind as a sibset with Lottie - but I would use the Millie spelling as it is way more popular (it’s in the Top 100 just like Lottie so might likely save her some misspelling hassle). You might also like names with similar sounds like Molly, Holly, Ellie etc

Of your boys choices, I think Harry works the best - or another popular friendly sounding “nickname as given name” like Jack, Max or Toby.

Toby and Bella!

(If you know you know)

Glad you find it amusing, @mollylott1705 .

Rueben - Reuben
Marlo - Marlow or Arlo?
Harry - at least it's a recognised name and spelt correctly.
Ottis - Otto or Otis

Go for something interesting with a bit of flair.

It's a surprise for me to say this as I like traditional names, but I am getting really bored of Lottie: it's getting a bit tired (not awful, don't get me wrong but I'd pair it with something to make them sound less tired as a pair.)

BallerinaFall · 11/09/2025 14:34

I know a Charlotte (lottie) and Georgina
