Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Bluelilacbella · 29/08/2025 17:17

This is clearly made up! Just to get clicks…

GoldenRosebee · 29/08/2025 17:30

any article that starts with "Ellie wanted original name" I don't believe

yes I want unusual names, but wouldn't intentionally fuck up my child for it. There's plenty of way to be unusual without using stupid names - like using dated names, using names from Victorian England, using names from mythology or literature - there's just no way for everyone to like your baby name.

Spidey66 · 29/08/2025 17:32

Deffo made up. I can imagine it as a nickname though.

Favouritefruits · 29/08/2025 17:33

It must be made up, doubt when registering the child’s birth the registrar would let the child be called crumpets

Vic271 · 29/08/2025 17:45

I prefer pikelets personally. Not as a name though, obviously.

Bluelilacbella · 29/08/2025 18:15

Who would even write such an article?

butterpuffed · 29/08/2025 18:17

Waffles are nice 😉

KelsCommemorativeSausage · 29/08/2025 18:23

Brioche would have been nicer.

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 29/08/2025 18:24

I really want crumpets with cheese now 🤤

Topseyt123 · 29/08/2025 18:34

It has to be made up. If it is real then the mother is utterly stupid.

I used to make crumpet pizzas for mine to have for tea when they were little. Perhaps Pizza would have made a good middle name.

PInkyStarfish · 29/08/2025 18:43

Imagine if she grows up and becomes a woman of loose morals?! She would be known as Crumpet the Strumpet! 😂

YYYDlilah · 29/08/2025 19:05

Pikelet would have been better.

LiquoriceAllsorts2 · 29/08/2025 19:58

It’s actually a really cute name for a pet. Ridiculous for a child

Allswellandgood · 29/08/2025 20:29

Well Crumpets is a great name especially if you like the diminutive Crummy for your DC to endure, probably forever.

TescoFiasco · 30/08/2025 12:10

Love the way the mum keeps casually referring to her as "Crumps". It's growing on me 😂

Seriously though, this isn't real, right?
