scorpio1 · 02/06/2008 12:32

oh yes he had another fight last week & won

why do you think i have so many kids lol!

CoteDAzur · 02/06/2008 12:33

dizzydixies - How about 'Olympia', shortened to 'Pia'? (as in Gods of Greek mythology)

Goes well with your other girls' names, I think.

Isabella
Alexandra
Olympia

dizzydixies · 02/06/2008 12:33

have to say I do love a man in tight blue lycra and a tash

OP posts:
CoteDAzur · 02/06/2008 12:35

Or Cassandra (nn Cassie or nn Cass)

Isabella
Alexandra
Cassandra

I tell you, you have a Greek mythology theme going there

dizzydixies · 02/06/2008 12:36

is Cassandra not too Only Fools and Horses though - the one who married drippy Rodney

OP posts:
CoteDAzur · 02/06/2008 12:36

Sorry, UK references just fly over my head. No idea who any of those are.

scorpio1 · 02/06/2008 12:38

yes it is imo

dizzydixies · 02/06/2008 12:38

good lord, it also means

she who entangles men!!!

Cassia means cinammon like bark in Hebrew or empty/poor/robbed in Latin

OP posts:
scorpio1 · 02/06/2008 12:39

i love cassia tons. reminds me of cassis

dizzydixies · 02/06/2008 12:40

right, so what have I got again?

Cassia
Cordelia

will have to look back

OP posts:
dizzydixies · 02/06/2008 12:41

coteDAzur I think Olympia is a bit ambitious for our family tis FAB though and will give it a great deal of thought

OP posts:
VictorianSqualor · 02/06/2008 13:06

What would you shorten Cordelia too?
What will the middle name be?
What if you have a boy?

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/06/2008 20:41

I have it. Roberta. Bob, Bobbi, Bobby, Bertie, Berta.

VictorianSqualor · 02/06/2008 20:44

Matches my DS1 then CSWS, means Dizzy has to use it

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/06/2008 20:52

That's it then dizzy. VS and I have decided. You cannot argue.

Case closed.

Next!

dizzydixies · 02/06/2008 23:28

PMSL you are such a wonderful bunch of loons

Olympia completely thrown out by dh and to be fair he has a point it IS our local swimming pool

Roberta I quite like it BUT (and I can hear you all groaning at another but my dad AND my brother are both Robert and I don't want them to think that she would be named after either of them - tis not an honour I wish to bestow

VS boys choices are already picked, further up the thread, as I've never had a chance to use them yet

Cassius
Jude
Reuben/Rudy
Corin
Caleb

OP posts:
sweetkitty · 03/06/2008 12:13

Olympia = beaten up in a Scottish playground for me sorry.

Cassia would be my choice out of the ones you have picked so far.

I think you are having a boy anyway dizzy

dizzydixies · 03/06/2008 22:15

kitty if it IS a boy at least we have a list
