dd1-Olivia-Mae lots of olivia's but Mae is mega chavvy apparently
dd2 & dd3 never mentioned

CantSleepWontSleep · 29/05/2008 21:31

Dd's doesn't really get mentioned (except by me!) on the baby name threads, but long before the baby names topic there was a well known MNer who was considering using her name for her dd2, and lots of opinions were given then. Most people seemed to like/love it, but a handful (of largely well known MNers) thought it was too 'horsey'.

ChippyMinton · 29/05/2008 21:32

all mentioned and all given the MN stamp of approval...and all chosen by DH so I can't take the credit

sweetkitty · 29/05/2008 21:33

SK waves to hatrick and dizzy

charliecat · 29/05/2008 21:33

never

scorpio1 · 29/05/2008 21:34

My ds1 hasn't really
ds2 yes
dd - ALOT. some argue its not a name name just a shortening.

dizzydixies · 29/05/2008 21:35

pmsl all we need now is VS and naming thread is complete

scorpio what a load of arse, I hope you don't take that comment seriously

hatwoman · 29/05/2008 21:36

hat wonders whether to start a thread about her dd's names....never thought of doing that before. not sure whether I want to or not...

hatwoman · 29/05/2008 21:37

as far as I know neither has ever been mentioned

dizzydixies · 29/05/2008 21:37

hatwoman step away from the baby naming thread, slowly.........slowly..........good girl

scorpio1 · 29/05/2008 21:37

TigerFeet · 29/05/2008 21:39

Ds's name appears to be shorthand for the kind of name that used to be posh, then was out of fashion and was unusual, and now is common as muck - George. I still love it so I don't care.

I never, never, never see my name discussed positively, negatively, or at all. Very odd, it is not that unusual, and not at all hideous.

scorpio1 · 29/05/2008 21:43

hatrick - i only liked hat name htough, as you did, not a fuller version. why would i call her something i didnt like?!?

nkf · 29/05/2008 21:44

My own name is never mentioned either now I come to think of it.
