So we stuck on a short list of names. Which does everyone reckon is the best out of the below. Did/do you know someone with the name; what are they like? Etc.etc.

I like quirky Griffin too. And Zeke is pretty cool sounding. Callum is also very nice (love nn Cal!). Not keen on your other choices, sorry - most sound too trendy to me.

I love Zeke, but it's maybe more of a nickname. Could be short for Ezekiel but Iv never really liked that name.

Silas, Rafe, Cian and Griffin are ok

I'd steer clear of Quade and Keanan.

I also like Griffin and I also like Silas (that more conventional spelling, rather than with the y, so he doesn't have to correct people all his life).

Thanks everyone suggesting it, will definitely change Sylas to Silas if we go with that one. ☺️

Love Griffin. Second choice would be Rafe. Not a big fan of the rest.

Like - Cian, Callum, Silas - all are a good balance between being familiar but not overused and don’t sound overly dated or trendy

Ok - Griffin, Zeke, Blake, Rafe - all useable but have disadvantages (Griffin feels a bit “hippy-ish” to me, Zeke is a bit unfamiliar as a standalone name, Blake is a bit dated / unisex, Rafe is more common as a nn and can look / sound like ra*e)

Dislike - Keanan, Quade - too “out there” for me

Griffin, Rafe, Silas or Zeke.

I quite like Callum, but none of the others.

I like most of your names! Not fussed on Sylas/Silas or Griffin.

I would pick Rafe or Zeke.

Blake - sorry i dont like it, it just seems like it would be the name of a horribly entitled momma's boy who is awful but can do no wrong on her eyes

Callum - lovely. I think it will male a come back soon. I imagine a really sweet born who is talented in music

Cian - its ok but you have better names on your list

Griffin - not a fan. Makes me think of Petee Griffin the horrible character from Family Guy

Rafe - lovely classic name

Sylas - Sylas is awful but Silas is wonderful. Why the random y?

Zeke - nice though I prefer as a nn for Ezekiel but I really like it

Silas is my favourite but only if spelt correctly, followed by Callum and Rafe

Callum is my fave. Prefer Blair to Blake but like Blake too, prefer Ciaran to Cian. Not a fan of the rest, the Zekes I know are both Ezekiels.

Does everyone not hear Griffin and immediately think of half lion/half eagle?.this is a weird association for me.

I only like Callum.
Cian and Keanan are ok but give me "naughty boy" vibes.
The others are just a bit too out there for me and I knew a dog called Zeke so that's giving strong staffy vibes I'm afraid!

Love Rafe (I have one so am biased), Silas (spelled like this) and Callum (nn Cal ❤️).

Callum, Rafe and Zeke are nice enough, although I've only ever known the spelling Raif (granted only two of them anyway though).
I work with children though and am heavily influenced by ones I've known when it comes to names!

Blake - blah. Don't like it.
Callum - I agree it'll make a comeback. I wouldn't choose it but wouldn't discouraging anyone else from doing so
Cian - my childs most concerning friendship, hes not am influence I'm encouraging 😳 so just can't see past that!
Griffin - I don't like last names as first names
Keanan - Don't like that either.
Quade - doesn't even sound like a name. It's as if you liked Kaden but wanted to be a bit quirky with it.
Rafe - Cute name but as said above just not the spelling I know so it looks odd to me. But thats just me.
Sylas - Silo 👎🏼
Zeke - Fine.
