I just read that someone called Marnie Simpson from a reality show has called her newborn daughter this. I think it's bonkers.

lol same, it’s to match rox and oax she needed something with a middle or end x I think. Still very strange lol

MrsFrumble · 21/07/2025 18:21

Is it pronounced Kick-see or Kizzee?

Chersfrozenface · 21/07/2025 18:25

Diminutive of 'kicks' i.e. shoes?

A bit like Caligula.

Darragon · 21/07/2025 18:28

Sounds like some sort of a Chinese knock-off shampoo brand from Amazon.

REDB99 · 21/07/2025 18:33

Awful.

KCSIE which is the government’s Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance is often shortened by those in the sector to ‘Kicksee’

Cattery · 21/07/2025 18:35

It’s almost like a race to the bottom with these made-up names.

ginasevern · 21/07/2025 18:37

Sounds like a pet monkey.

May913 · 21/07/2025 18:40

Awful! Poor child.

gotellsomeone · 21/07/2025 18:41

She’s obviously trying to be different but it’s not that bad, I’ve heard worse on the playground

SpottyAardvark · 21/07/2025 18:43

Chavee.

cramptramp · 21/07/2025 18:49

I’d expect nothing less than a ridiculous horrible name from her.

LucasBuck · 21/07/2025 20:48

So is it pronounced like the name Kizzy and “just” a misspelling? It’ll be a right pain for her daughter if so, but plenty of people do have to spell their names. Kizzy is not exactly my cup of tea as a given name (rather than as a nickname for Keziah), but it’s okay.

Or is Kixee pronounced “Kicksee” ! and so something she randomly made up?

Chersfrozenface · 21/07/2025 20:57

It'll be pronounced Kick-see, surely, to go with the older siblings Rox and Oax, as noted by a PP.

PrincessHoneysuckle · 21/07/2025 21:03

And her Geordie shore mate has just had a girl called Pixie

Limonades · 22/07/2025 07:28

Surely pronounced Kixee, like Roxy. With an X

There’s no Z?!

ApoodlecalledPenny · 22/07/2025 07:37

I think Rox and Oax are worse.

😆 so true! If anything that's a nick name at best

legolegoeverywhereandnotadroptodrink · 22/07/2025 08:06

it screams chav

Why do siblings have to have names that match? All ending in X?

lack of imagination.

I don't understand the matching names thing. I've got three brothers named Jeremy, Benjamin and Samuel. Nobody matched them up or matched with my name either. Is this a thing now? A neighbour has three children named Rocco Hendrix and Halo. The oldest one is called Rocks and Roxster.
