What’s your opinion on the name Hannah?

Bonus points for middle name suggestions too

It’s a lovely nice. Bonus points for it being a palindrome as well (as is Anna of course)

Love it and much nicer than Anna imo

Like many on here I do prefer Anna - I like that it’s simple and elegant and I’ve met ones of very varied ages and it’s internationally more popular too I think (as I’ve met a few of different nationalities). It would be top of my girls list if there wasn’t a young one already in the family.

Nothing wrong with Hannah as such though, it just happens that most of the ones I’ve met are 30’s- 50’s. So I tend to think of it more as a “Mum” name rather than a younger persons one iykwim.

Hannah is a nice name and I think it would pair with a more unusual second name or I think you could do 2 middle names

I’m Hannah Lucy - never been called Anna and I like my name. I’m 44 - it seems to go in 20 year cycles.

Not a fan personally, but I was born in the 80s and there were lots of Hannah’s, so for me it’s on the boring 80s name list, along with Katie and Laura.

Hannah was my great-grandmas name, she was born in the 1920's, we considered it for DD.
Lovely name and Skye works well as a nickname and gives it a nice modern twist.

Im the complete opposite i much prefer Hannah to Anna and think of Anna as a old ladies name (and rather unimaginative) I think the "H" adds style.

I’m Hannah Lucia and I’m in my 30s, there wasn’t any other Hannah’s in my year at school and I have only met one other since in the working world, had loads of people comment it’s a nice name.
