Don’t like either but Lennon was a bit of an arsehole (and isn’t this the name of another arsehole’s son, Liam Gallagher?) so Frank.

frostedshreddie · 09/06/2025 18:15

Frank 🫶🏻

TomatoSandwiches · 09/06/2025 18:18

Lennon is a try hard name, Frank is better.

Gffbjjgfddbjkkm · 09/06/2025 18:20

Both awful, but Lennon really is terrible.

Tygertiger · 09/06/2025 18:21

Lennon is a surname, not a first name. And is only ever going to make people think of John. I’m a huge Beatles fan but I wouldn’t saddle my child with a name that will make everyone they meet instantly think of one. Frank is much better. Or if you’re also a diehard fan, there’s nothing wrong with John (or Paul, or George, or Richard) and then you’ll know where the name came from but it’s not immediately obvious to the world.

BashfulClam · 09/06/2025 18:22

Both are absolutely awful!

Icedcaramelfrappe · 09/06/2025 18:23

Frank but Francis on the birth certificate

To be fair, I know a couple of Lennons named after Neil Lennon, whose fathers are diehard Celtic fans.

ginasevern · 09/06/2025 18:34

Frank is fine but preferably Francis on the birth cert so he has a choice. Lennon is just try too hard and pretty naff.

KayEmAy · 09/06/2025 18:43

Lennon over Frank

TimSamandLulu · 09/06/2025 18:44

Frank is an awesome name.

Moreteaandchocolate · 09/06/2025 18:52

Team Frank!

DramaAlpaca · 09/06/2025 18:56

Lennon. It's not great, but Frank is horrible.

Emanwenym · 09/06/2025 19:06

Of the two, Frank. Lennon is dreadful.

17caterpillars1mouse · 09/06/2025 19:43

Is there a third option?

I only know one Lennon (5 year old)

I don't know any Frank's but do know 3 Frankie's (9, 5 and 2)

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 09/06/2025 19:56

Frank. Or John.

megacat · 09/06/2025 19:58

Why would you saddle a kid with either of those names? Terrible.

theunbreakablecleopatrajones · 09/06/2025 23:16

Frank is nice

Lennon is bloody awful, as well as tragically try hard

TENSsion · 09/06/2025 23:18

I really like Franklin but couldn’t pick between frank and Lennon. I dislike them equally

sheknowsitstoolate · 09/06/2025 23:20

Lennon reminds me of John Lennon and Frank reminds me of Frank Gallagher. I would pick Frank. Franklin and Francis are better.

PractisingMyTelekenipsis · 09/06/2025 23:21

I know one of each, both under 10. I simultaneously love and hate both names in equal measure.
I think of the 2 I prefer Frank. But not Francis. That's awful.

user1492757084 · 10/06/2025 05:49

Frank.

Others ..
Leonard
Leon
Alexander - Lex
Lexton

Eenameenadeeka · 10/06/2025 05:50

Of the two, I'd pick Lennon. Lennie is a cute nickname😊

user1492757084 · 10/06/2025 05:54

Lennon is very Beatles loaded. Lennie is cute but for some reason I always see little Lennie running about in striped pyjamas wearing a black robber's mask..

TimingOff · 10/06/2025 11:17

Francis, ideally.

Lennon makes you sound like a superfan.
