I love both but Violet wins for me, if I'd had a third dd that would have been her name

Coupled with Marjorie, I'd go Violet. Avoids a vowel sound at the end of the first name and beginning of the second.

Marjorie is a lovely name!

My youngest daughter is called iris-may and my youngest son would have been violet if he had been a girl so I think they are both equally beautiful ❤️

Fantasic first name. Violet is easier to say following it, but either is nice.

I prefer the name Iris but Violet is easier to say.

Violet.

I love both names but I think violet flows slightly better. It's not such an issue as it's not a first name but it also depends how the people closest say "violet". That's just having been on holiday next to a small child violet and hearing "VILE-ETT!!" Screeched by her dad every few minutes. It's beautiful pronounced with the slight "o sound in it though!

Violet flows best after Marjorie.
