My favourite is Charlotte, but Amelie is the prettiest.

Charlotte out of those choices. I’m not that keen on any of them though.

Charlotte isn’t a pretty name imo.

Amelie is the prettiest and least common.

Eliana is pretty and unusual, but will get shortened to Ellie, if you are ok with that.

A child I taught was ‘Eloryn’, also unusual…but also shortened to Ellie…🙄

I taught an Eliana who wasn’t shortened to Ellie.

Where I live, Amelie is very popular but I agree it’s probably the prettiest.

Amelie is a pretty name but not uncommon and in my friend’s daughter’s class in a small village primary school there’s an Amelie, Amelia and two Amy’s.

Every Charlotte I’ve known goes by Charlie, rather defeating the point of a pretty girly name!
I’d choose Evelyn shortened to Eve from that list.

I love Ophelia but then I am a Hamlet nut, I did my dissertation on Hamlet. Amelie though pretty I wouldn't use cos I am an Amelia (middle name) and prefer that, it's a family name.
Evelyn seems to be making a come back but it still sounds dated to me, Charlotte is much too popular and i don't like Mila or Eliana.

Really? I have never met a Mila or an Ophelia. I know of a Mila, my stepsisters stepdaughter is called that but I have never heard of or met another one.

Ophelia is lovely. Sadly, my MIL put me off by laughing and saying “I feel ya”.

I only like Charlotte from the list.

I like Charlotte the best, followed by Evelyn. Amelie is sweet.

Mila, Ophelia and Eliana are all current trend names which are not to my taste at all.

It's a high rising 'trend' name. By nature, these names tend to grow rapidly in popularity in certain areas, yet remain pretty unheard of in other areas which the trend hasn't yet reached.

I don't know many Ophelias at all around me, yet, but I can see by the charts and comments on here how popular it has become in some areas in recent years. Mila is a name which is absolutely everywhere around me right now, another typical 'trend name'. I accept it may be a lot less popular elsewhere though.

I don’t like Mila at all, it’s a noise to me and seems faddy. Also always gets paired with Rose/Grace/May. It’s one of those names.

Amelie is hugely popular but nice. I know a lot of Charlottes and Lotties. Ophelia is one of those names that is back and will date.

Eliana is lovely and I never hear it.

Would it be pronounced MYLA or MEELA ?

We've got similar name taste. All pretty with Amélie just winning for me.

Charlotte is a solid classic but the teens I know become Charley, which isn’t “pretty” to me.
