Has anyone ever chosen a baby name for it not to feel quite right but then for it to eventually feel ok?
If so, when did the name doubts and worries wear off?

Yes! I loved my first son's name but for about the first year I wasn't sure whether it suited him. Now I can't imagine him being called anything else

Only with my eldest son's middle name. He's grown up now and I'm still not sure about it, but he likes it so I guess it worked out.

Yes, with my second DCs first name. I love it, but it didn’t feel special enough somehow.

He’s mid 20s now & the regret stopped years ago. I think there’s a point where the name just becomes “him” for most people.

Exactly the same, I'm a bit on the fence about my eldest's middle name. I can't remember why I chose it but he's an adult and likes it.
