Timeless and tasteful, but overdone

It's a nice name. No negative connotations that I can think of, it's easy to spell and no chance of mispronunciation.
If I'm 100% honest, it's not a name I would choose, but I also wouldn't think negatively about it if I heard it.

It’s a nice name, I think it’s just overused. I know a few people with Ruby’s.

I don't know any little Ruby's and think it's very sweet. Quite a fiesty name in my mind

The only one I know is great (and very talented, so don't be surprised if the name makes everyone think "painter" in a few years!)

One of my relatives was Ruby, born about 1920. She was the loveliest lady, so the name has good associations for me. Only come across one or two young ones, so don’t think its over used.
