This is what both my mum and dad said separately to me when I told them about my new boyfriend whose name was Harris (nearly 30 years ago!)

It didn’t mean anything to me because why would a 16 year old know about Harris Tweed but he had heard it all before.

Yes I’ve never heard of Harris tweed but not a bad thing to have the same name. I did think of rolf Harris but you could link a lot of names to awful things I suppose!

Also means ‘protector’ or ‘guardian’ in Arabic. I love the name.
