I like Henry. I think Tommy is too much together with Tilly.

GoldenRosebee · 10/05/2025 10:50

Tilly and Monty or Tilly and Henry

Pinkl · 10/05/2025 10:53

Tilly and Louis

or…
Tilly & Albie
Tilly & Rory

Littledidsheknow · 10/05/2025 10:54

I like Tilly and Louis. Spelt like that, not Louie!

Not keen on the others.

sueelleker · 10/05/2025 11:03

Tilly and Toby?

GoodVibesHere · 10/05/2025 11:06

I'd go for a name with one or three syllables, e.g.

Jack
Benjamin
Sebastian

Luca, to avoid another y/ie ending as they sound quite sing-songy together. I would especially avoid Tilly and Tommy. It reminds me of Topsy and Tim!

I do like Louis, but only spelt this way. I definitely think Luca goes the best though.

My cousin is called Louis but pronounced “Lewis” that’s why I wouldn’t use that spelling.

Better avoiding then. A Lewis and Louie (verbal pronunciations) in the same family is a bit too much. Your child will often have his name spelt Louis by people anyway, as that is the traditional spelling and pronunciation.

Henry or Luca
The other combinations sound like cartoon characters!

Moreteaandchocolate · 10/05/2025 11:58

Henry or Louie are my favourites. I like Louie best as Henry is very overused round me. Luca is nice too. Not keen on Tilly and Tommy together - sounds like a CBeebies show!

Mumofgirls2017 · 10/05/2025 15:52

Henry is my favourite but somehow think Luca works better

stopringingme · 10/05/2025 16:19

Henry

timoteigirl · 10/05/2025 16:29

Came to say choose Henry. Tommy is too cute, too much.

Is your daughter Tilly or is that a nick name? If her official name is Matilda, then you could name son Lawrence and call Laurie. Or maybe something ending in a consonant instead of -y or -ie, especially...Francis or Silas

Reddelilah · 11/05/2025 09:25

Tilly and Louie

Gia906 · 11/05/2025 09:38

Luca to avoid the two ee endings

Gia906 · 11/05/2025 09:40

Love the meaning of Luca too btw: bringer of light. My friend’s decade long awaited IVF baby is Luca.

ElixirOfLife · 11/05/2025 09:45

Tilly and Luca
