My last post I got so much negative feedback on the Scandinavian name we had picked which was Tuva.

my husband is born and bred Scandinavian so it’s been hard to choose a name for our second ( who is Kasper Snow)

my husbands favourite is Kaia Summer however in due in 3 weeks so would like other opinions on the other options we like.

yes I realize Kaia Summer will be the same initials. Happy for people’s opinion on this 😊 they will be 3 years apart.

we do want a third child, however my husband thinks we should just go with whatever name we like best, the initials being the same wouldn’t be intentional.

we are in Australia so would appreciate feedback from aussies/nz - as seems like there is a bit of a cultural different with names when reading comments from people in the UK!!

still a bit undecided, Aparently my husband has decided that he’s not too keen on Sylvie anymore, which is a bugger. So top two are Kaia and he really loves Tuva, but I’m a bit hesitant from the “tuna” comment.

i did find Alva today which is also Scandinavian, any opinions on that one?

do love Kaia but I’m not sure if Kaia and Kasper are too similar. Sometimes i think that’s sooo cute together and other times im not sure!! It’s hard when some people say it goes and some don’t! I don’t know what to think 🤪 hopefully I’ll just know when I look at her face

Silvie summer sounds like s film star. I love it! I also really like kasper

Alva is ok, but I still love Kaia best - if you do too I think it’s more important to choose your favourite name (the one you think she will love being called the most) than to worry to much about how it goes with Kasper - that’s something that bothers the parents much more than the children I think.

Kaia Hazel is my favourite.

Sylvie Hazel is lovely

Luna is faddy and Sylvie Summer sounds like she’s in a cult

Kaia is a bit Kardashian

If you want something Scandi what about Sanna?

Or Thora ?

Alva is ok - not sure the Aussie accent will do it any favours though.

Sanna is my husbands sisters name 🤣
