Baby boy name opinions

Hey! I am due to give birth on the 28th of May, it’s a little boy. I am torn between the names Boden + Edison, which name is your favourite out the 2? + does anyone know of any negative associations with either of them?

Boden makes me think of the shop! Edison is nice though

Congratulations!! Boden instantly makes me think of the name of the fashion brand. I have seen the boys name spelt Beauden instead. Then shortened to Beau.
I much prefer Reuben personally.
Edison makes me think of Thomas Edison who invented the light blub and it’s a surname in my mind.

Boden means floor, ground, soil or bottom in German. That doesn't seem complimentary. Edison is a surname, so unless you live in one of those places where using surnames as first names is a tradition, it seems a bit odd. Sorry.

If you are going to go with Bowan, I’d probably spell it Bowen like the surname -as surnames as first names are so popular now that most people would probably assume that’s the spelling.

Boden = frumpy clothes

I like Edison and there a lots of nickname options with it (Ted, Eddy, Ed). Biden makes me think of this shop and I think Bowan is awful (sorry). Rowan sounds much nicer than Bowan imo.
