Opinions on Cassia?

Cassia Raye is what we are thinking.
We already have a Xander and a Gia. This is our final baby!

Really pretty. But, cassie-ah, or cash-a? People should only need to be told once though so not a big deal.

Awful. As a PP mentioned, cassia is a cheap inferior version of cinnamon.

I don't like Raye or Rae. Fay is nice.

Sounds like a lovely name, and Cas is a perfect nickname.

It's a prettyish name, not the nicest I've heard. But yes, it's a cheap, less fragrant version of cinnamon. I don't like Raye.

Cassia is lovely and works well with her siblings names. I assume you like Cass/Cassie too though as it’s probably more likely to be shortened than Gia or perhaps even Xander.

Less keen on Raye (especially that spelling, Rae does look nicer), but then I prefer more classic names - I’d go for something like Blythe, Hope or Eve if I wanted a single syllable middle name.

ETA: For all those mentioning cinnamon, it’s also an Ancient Roman name - the feminine of Cassius , so equivalent to names like Julia, Claudia, Antonia etc.
