Jasper or Felix?

Name changed for this.

We're so stuck, please help! Baby boy is 9 days old today and we have got it down to two names.

Big brother is Otto, surname begins with S, middle-names are family names.

Felix or Jasper? I know both are sometimes considered pet names but we don't care.

Thoughts?!

I really like both, they were on my list for a baby boy but my husband didn’t like them, annoyingly. My favourite is Jasper!

With an S ending surname I'd go with Jasper. Not a huge deal, but Felix Smith runs into each other a bit and sounds like Felik Smith.

Definitely Jasper. If your surname begins with S then as a previous poster said, Felix doesn’t work.

Jasper Smith sounds much better

Neither tbh. I've had cats called Jasper and Felix so I can't hear either name in relation to a human.

Both really nice and similar vibe, you cant go wrong!

My teenage sons know a couple of Felix and a Jasper, all really nice lads and both names that are seen as unusual but not out there and noone has ever commented negatively on them, if that helps at all 😁

Otto and Jasper would be my choice. Very handsome.
I lke Felix but not with a surname beginning with S.

Felix was always my favourite for DS but, when he was born, he 'looked' like a Rufus so stuck with that.

It’s not necessarily love for Jasper, but rather the result of having to choose between Felix and Jasper!

@Reddelilah lots on the thread have said they like. Tbh I'm not particularly fussy with names and indifferent to most of them but I think Jasper is horrible.
