Do they go by any nicknames and if so what are they?
I am aware nicknames evolve naturally but my husband loves Frank but I love a name that can have nicknames

I don't have a child called Frank/Frankie (I don't have any children at all).

But I know two men named Frank, and both are called Frank, no nicknames.

I think Frankie is a good nickname for Frank. What does your husband think?

I hope you will get some answers from people with sons called Frank/Frankie!

@SuzieShep123 hi 👋🏻 i have a boy called Franky & we nickname him Frank for short. especially when he is misbehaving! haha 😆

Why not frances and then frank can be the nickname

Well Frank is traditionally short for Francis, and more recently Franklin, as well as being an independent name, so you could give him one of those on the birth certificate?

I have a Francis who was Frankie as a baby but is now Frank. He likes all of those options though. Jokey nicknames we call him Frankenstein and Frankiepants. He also gets Francisco/Franco.

My DGF was Frank but affectionately known as Fred to a significant few.

Frances is a girl's name. The boy's name is Francis.

Yeah I've never been able to get to grips with which way round that goes

Make each longer and it might be easier: Francesca and Francisco
