Opinions on theses names please

Would like opinions on these names and which do you prefer out of the two

Laney

I’ll be honest, they’re not my style.
They feel very American to me and I’m not a big lover of Americanised names.

They’re both pretty awful IMO but if you like them then use them.
Lacelyn sounds made up and the only Laney I’ve ever known was actually an Elaine trying and failing to sound more cool.

I dont like names that end in -Lyn really. Lacey is ok.

I like Laney but only as a nickname, would go with something like Adalaine, Helena, Delaney, Magdalena as a full name

They aren't my style either I'm afraid.

It might be an idea to maybe change the spelling of the second name to Lainey as people will be more familiar with that spelling?

They don't sound like real names. They're going to be problematic for the child. How about

laney is not massively to my taste, but is a million times better than Lacelyn

I prefer Laney to Lacelyn.

I dislike both but Laney is the better of the two.

How do you say Lacelyn - Lassel-in? Layce-lyn?
Laney I'd spell as Leni or Lainey.

I'd look for other names.

Awful, The Lainey I know is actually Elaine though.

I like them both, they are both lovely sounding words. I had Lacey on my list for a girl.

Is it Lay-seh-lin or Lay-slin? I prefer the former.

Sorry, but No to both. To me they sound like characters from Dynasty or Dallas( I’m old)

Lacelyn is horrific.

Laney is ok, but better spelt Lainey.

Laney is fine.

Lacelyn is dire.

I can’t work out how it’s pronounced but if it’s Lacey-Lin then No! Lacey is fine.
