Ines Flora Emilia

I’ve always loved Flora, although when we were considering it people kept referring to connotations with the spread. I don’t think that’s such a big deal these days so that would be my vote! Ines is lovely but I think you’d be correcting pronunciation a lot.

Freddie or Flora

And I would suggest that Wren and Griffin match your style

ScentOfAMoomin · 16/03/2025 19:44

PS I am not a fan of Ines for a girl, but I love Innes for a boy.

Marchingintoapril · 17/03/2025 10:34

I love Emilia from your list.

MinPinSins · 17/03/2025 11:37

Aside from Ines, the names you listed seem a bit bland in comparison to your existing children's fantastic names. Flora and Emilia are very close to the very overdone Florence and Amelia, and Freddie is pretty tired now.

Ines would be lovely. I can also see Amos, Desmond, Hector, Quentin for boys. For girls Blanche, Susannah, Verity, Helena possibly.

HereintheloveofChristIstand · 17/03/2025 11:39

Ines is lovely

Please not Freddie. It is a silly nickname and not for a man who is to be taken seriously (unless his surname is Mercury)

Edited

i like both but think they might get confused or said as Eye-ns. Some people struggle with anything that's not familiar.

est09 · 23/03/2025 16:44

@MinPinSins Verity is darling but we have a cousin called Vettie and I think that's too similar? Although this has inspired Vera to be a contender
