Boy names to go with Wren?

Expecting DS2 and really could do with suggestions for a name. Our first child is called Wren.

DH's top choice is Oren but I think it's a bit similar to Wren.

I like:
Rue
August
Silas

Any names come to mind along our kind of styles? We love nature names but have a Rowan and a Raven in our lives so as popular as they are they're not useable for us!

Oren - too similar to Wren.
Rue - too similar to Wren.
August - Au-GUST or AU-gust. Too tricky. I like Angus
Silas - love it.

Some crackers on there but it might inspire you.
Heath would go. I'd avoid another bird name.

Jasper?

Ivo seems the obvious one to “match” Wren to me. Equally short and simple and on trend (growing in popularity without being super popular yet) with a nature meaning like Wren. Heath would also be a lovely choice for similar reasons.

Oren is fab but a bit too similar to Wren in sound imo (depending on emphasis). Orin is a possible derivative which you might get away with more easily imo. Orion (as in the constellation) might be another option.

Agree that Oren sounds too similar

Osian and Orion were my first thoughts. I know a Wren whose little brother has an entirely unexpected name... the kind where you think that he should probably have popped out wearing plus-fours and smoking a cigar.

Nature names for boys are so hard to choose, but I like Linden and Oleander.

Love Wren and Oren. Reminds me of an old colleague, her youngest 2 were called Jaime and Jay. Imaginative much.

You can't call Wren's brother Oren. And Rue sounds like a girl's name to me.

Is Peregrine too long for you?
