Nice big house.
Since when is Jinger a name though?

Well good luck to them! Eighteen kids makes me wonder what I've been doing with my time!
They don't have a Janet yet

Wow, she must have to walk along with her legs crossed to stop them dropping out! 11 years pg??

When do they get time to do it? I don't get the chance with one!

lizandlulu · 10/05/2008 11:25

i do think it is different for them though. living in that massive house, with all that ground around, the small kids can play outside with out fear of getting run over or taken. the older kids are taught at home and are well taught to help out with the smaller ones. i have seen the earlier documentry about them and their routine and behavior puts my house to shame

lizandlulu · 10/05/2008 11:26

im not saying it is easier by a long stretch, cause i can imagine 18 kids. but they do seem to cope really really well.

SpookyMadMummy · 10/05/2008 11:36

Pmsl at the comment on that article... How about Juststop!

Good luck to them if they can manage 18 children!!

Scotia · 10/05/2008 13:14

AGAIN - she just seems to be permanently pregnant! Good luck to her.

MadamePlatypus · 10/05/2008 13:16

I get the impression that that the older children do a lot of childcare.

suedonim · 10/05/2008 13:24

Imagine the arguments when the postman arrives as to who is going to open the letter!

Jumping Jehozephat (s?).

theangelshavethephonebox · 10/05/2008 13:45

the older girls do a lot of childcare

hellish · 10/05/2008 13:56

Very interesting that her kids seem to be in same sex groups. She had 3/4 girls in row and 6 boys in a row.

zippitippitoes · 10/05/2008 14:00

nice looking house

glaskham · 10/05/2008 14:06

I saw a documentary on this family, i have to say they did seem very happy, the older kids help younger ones etc, all help mum with housework etc, dad works as somethign like a constuction manager, and he designed the house they live in (the one in the pic)

good luck to them if they can cope with that many kids, 2 is more than enough for me personally!!

MadamePlatypus · 10/05/2008 15:52

Yes, I stand corrected angels!

MerlinsBeard · 10/05/2008 15:58

i keep seeing this family on discovery health. its not something i am comfortable with personally but its not my way of life and they do seem happy.

schneebly · 10/05/2008 15:58

I admire them actually - watched them on tv and they were all very happy, mucking in - they are like the waltons! They seem to be comfortable that they are a little 'different' - respect.
