Faye, Fern, Nina or Clara?

My partner and I have finally agreed on a handful of names, although we each have different favourites. Which of these names do you like best? I keep changing my mind!

Faye
Fern
Nina
Clara
Erin

Nina or Clara.

My order of preference:
Nina - love!
Faye
Erin
Clara - bit sickly, very popular on here
Fern - not keen

Nina - like
Faye - prefer Fay
Fern - like
Erin - slightly mean girl vibes
Clara - don't like. Clare is OK

All are nice names. My favourites are Nina, Clara and Erin.

Fern

Fern is my favourite by a mile, but I love gardening and houseplants so I'm biased! I wish I'd used it for DD1, at the very least for a middle name. If we ever get a dog I'd probably use it then instead 🌿

Nina

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I really like Fern, but worry about it sounding like Vern! Am I being ridiculous? I'm overthinking it all and picking apart every name at this point. Send help!

I love Fern

Clara is and has been my fave name for years, so I will always say yes to more of them in the world!

Clara for definite, I really dislike Nina and Faye, Fern and Erin are OK

Nina is probably the best of the bunch!

Nina, Clara or Fay - Nina is my favourite

Nina by a mile. Fern second.

Erin top for me - the perfect girl's name IMO! Pretty but not frilly.

Then Clara and Fern, then Nina (which I like but a bit less). Faye last by some way - feels very different vibe-wise to the others.

Nina or Clara. They sound fresh and lovely .

Ooh you have great taste! I have a Nina and those names were on my shortlist too. We also liked Sadie.

Fern and Nina are great. The others are not in the same league and Erin and Faye are bad.

Lovely names - I like Erin the best and Fern the least
