Ilse or Eira?

Hello... still looking at different girl names, and wondering which one people find nicest out of Ilse and Eira?

Depending on how you pronounce, I only know Eira as a boys name. How do you intend to pronounce the other name?

Both are good names.

Ilse sounds Danish to me. Very pretty name.

Depends on where you are based. In the UK, neither, as they'll be Ils or Ira.

I have no idea how to pronounce them correctly. So maybe be prepared for some strange variations!

I like Ilse/Ilsa more than Eira

Ilse is one of my favourite names. It's so beautiful. Would've used it for dd but didn't go at all well with our surname.
I've not come come across the other option but it doesn't sound as nice as Ilse.
