KiLeigh is awful imo but Alexandra is a lovely name

DaisyChain505 · 14/01/2025 12:13

For the love of God do not bake your baby KiLeigh

BobbyBiscuits · 14/01/2025 12:16

The second one is awful. The closest I can think to that which sounds ok would by Cara or Kira.
Alexandra is quite nice, shortened to Alex.

RuthW · 14/01/2025 12:20

Alexandra- the other isn't a name

LionRumpus · 14/01/2025 12:21

Surely AhLixAhnDrah would be a better spelling??

Festschriften · 14/01/2025 12:22

I don't like either of them, but in opposite ways.

Pemba · 14/01/2025 12:25

Alexandra or what now?

Please go with Alexandra.

Wendolino · 14/01/2025 12:26

KiLeigh is awful

It is a joke post, but also, Americans of any colour are allowed to be interested in their heritage. I have Canadian relatives who are very interested in their Scottish roots. Lots of parts of N America have cultural or linguistic links to particular countries.

It's fine to be interested in your heritage (I couldn't be less interested in mine), but why do they expect anyone else to care?

Definitely don’t bake it

GreenTeaLikesMe · 14/01/2025 12:59

Balonz definitely, OP.

Or perhaps Kill-Bill?

Riapia · 14/01/2025 13:14

FFS.

Mirabai · 14/01/2025 13:28

KiLeigh and KilBill could work. (Somewhere in Alabama)

Vroomfondleswaistcoat · 14/01/2025 13:45

GreenTeaLikesMe · 14/01/2025 12:59

Balonz definitely, OP.

Or perhaps Kill-Bill?

Surely to give it that feminine twist it should be Balonzina?

How do people not realise that someone is taking the piss here?

I'm more worried OP still see one of the piss-takes and go 'ooo that does sound nice'

TwigletsAndRadishes · 14/01/2025 13:53

This is the easiest choice ever.

Alexandra.

But if you want Kylie then spell it Kylie. Although I am struggling to imagine how the same person who could be seriously considering Alexandra could also be seriously considering KiLeigh. You aren't are you? Let's be honest.

WelcomeToMonkeyTown · 14/01/2025 13:54

KiLeigh..... Is it too late to say I'm sorry (for naming you this)

BOREDOMBOREDOM · 14/01/2025 13:56

Sorry but kileigh (I assume pronounced keeleigh or Kiley ?) is terrible especially if pronounced keeleigh. Alexandra will be shortened to Alex which is typically a boy's name which is meh (I'm not a fan of unisex names) it's better than keeleigh though

GrantMitchell · 14/01/2025 13:57

How about JimberLeigh?

DojaPhat · 14/01/2025 13:59

This is hilarious. I'd go with KiLeigh just for the laughs! It'll be a lifetime of fun OP!

bellocchild · 14/01/2025 14:07

Hipalong · 14/01/2025 10:37

coxesorangepippin · 14/01/2025 14:08

Seriously?

Alexandra

Timeless

coxesorangepippin · 14/01/2025 14:09

Alexandra will be shortened to Alex which is typically a boy's name which is meh (I'm not a fan of unisex names)

^

I'm an Alex and man, I feel like a woman

Purplecatshopaholic · 14/01/2025 14:12

Any name that isn’t KiLeigh! You can’t be serious surely? Is it meant to be Kylie? Or Killie? In which case use those spellings. I’m going to assume you are having a laugh…
